It’s as simple as that!

In November we hosted an Employee Appreciation Event as our way of saying “thank you” to our team, giving employees from every office the opportunity to

 get together outside of work for a night of celebration. Employees from our branch offices attended as well; some driving over from as far away as Central Oregon and Kennewick, WA. This year we hosted the event in Camas, WA at the Fairgate Inn. The night began with drinks and hors’dourves, followed by dinner and “Casino Night.”

It’s official—we’re a 2012 Zweig White Hot Firm!

Last week President/CEO Tim Schauer and Senior Vice President Derrick Smith were present at the awards ceremony in Aspen, CO when the rankings were announced. We were named #54 on the list of architecture, engineering and environmental consulting firms that have outperformed the economy and competitors to become leaders in their chosen fields.

“Lead by doing right.” This is not only our corporate purpose statement, it’s a phrase around our offices that is often mentioned and carried out in various ways. Giving back to the communities we do business in means more to us than writing a check—we invest by giving our time as well.

Make A Difference Day, the largest national day of helping others, is sponsored annually by USA WEEKEND Magazine and its 800 carrier newspapers. Make A Difference Day takes place on the 4th Saturday in October each year.
