It’s official—we’re a 2012 Zweig White Hot Firm!

Last week President/CEO Tim Schauer and Senior Vice President Derrick Smith were present at the awards ceremony in Aspen, CO when the rankings were announced. We were named #54 on the list of architecture, engineering and environmental consulting firms that have outperformed the economy and competitors to become leaders in their chosen fields.

This is the first time we’ve been named to the list.  “This is a tremendous accomplishment and our story of growth is one we are proud of as a partner group.  We remain extremely committed to sustaining this growth and not only keeping jobs but growing new ones,” said Lisa Schauer, who is a partner and Vice President of Business Development.

So… why the excitement? The 2012 hot firm list recognizes the top 100 firms that exhibit the fastest growth in the last three fiscal years. MacKay Sposito was ranked on their average percentage revenue growth and absolute dollar revenue growth from 2008-2011. Entrants were limited to firms that derive the majority of their revenues from the practice of architecture, engineering, planning, environmental consulting or allied disciplines. Worldwide, there are 80,000 to 90,000 companies in this industry who are eligible!  Senior Vice President and partner Derrick Smith explains, “These are the companies that really matter!
