As long as there have been humans on this planet, there have been problems or challenges to overcome. In our current, fast paced digital society with 24 hour news feeds from around the globe, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by what seems like an endless stream of bad news. Everyone reacts to this differently. Some may just tune it out. Others may freak out. Still others may choose to act out. A fairly common reaction is to complain about something but not do anything about it.

Earlier this month, we attended the annual HydroVision International Conference in Portland, OR. About 4,000 attendees from all over the United States and the world spent three full days at the Oregon Convention Center focusing on everything concerning hydro power.

Over the last two months, MacKay Sposito has been very involved consulting with Homes for Our Troops on a 5 acre residential site in Eatonville, WA in Pierce County for a severely injured veteran, Army Staff Sergeant Samuel Shockley.
