Some people are always ready to lend a hand – even when on vacation. Our own Frank Costanza is one of those people, and a family from Aberdeen is very lucky and thankful that Frank and a few of his friends were nearby last May to rescue them from chilly Willapa Bay when their boat capsized. Bob Sable, Leadership Clark County Class (LCC) of 2015, traveled to Olympia, Washington with his class Wednesday, January 20, 2015. Escorted by former State Senator and long-time community advocate Dean Sutherland, Bob’s day was a whirlwind tour of our State’s capital. The LCC class was introduced to Lieutenant Governor Brad Owen, Secretary of State Kim Wyman, Supreme Court Justice Susan Owens, and several members of the Southwest Washington delegation including: Representative Paul Harris, Representative Lynda Wilson, Representative Brandon Vick, Representative Jim Moeller, Representative Sharon Wylie, Senator Ann Rivers, and Senator Annette Cleveland. Governor Inslee’s regional Southwest Washington representative and Director of International Relations and Protocol, Schuyler Hoss, also stopped by to visit with the LCC class.
