On Saturday the MacKay Sposito family came together to celebrate and appreciate all of the accomplishments of 2014.
Starting with major decisions that a new year always brings, the continued growth in all areas, and preparing for the many challenges that comes with a game-changer contract win, 2014 is certainly a year to celebrate.
We were honored to have many employees and their special guests attend Saturday’s Appreciation Event. With over 70 new employees added to the MacKay Sposito employee base this year, we were excited that many of them were able to make it.
The event was at the beautiful Lacamas Lodge, a new venue in Camas just minutes from the Vancouver Columbia Tech office. Located beside Lacamas Lake, we had wonderful weather and were able to extend the event space by enjoying the large outdoor area adjacent to the lake.
Delicious food, provided by Sundial Baking, created the centerpiece of the evening. Owned by premier chef Dawn Houser (wife of Survey employee Gary Houser), Sundial Baking is known for creative and delectable dishes. And we certainly were not disappointed!
Entertainment was supplied by Brian Proctor, our roving magician, and many attendees took advantage of the props to create funny pictures at the photo booth. We also celebrated the tenure milestones of the following employees:
Rob Palena – 15 yearsRob Sumrall – 15 years
Adam Dill – 10 years
Cory Dopp – 5 years
Steve Flowers – 5 years
As this was an open house event, we mingled and enjoyed getting to know each other a little bit more. Jumping from table to table, we talked and traded stories that will be repeated to create the continued history of MacKay Sposito.
We appreciate everyone’s accomplishments and this night was a just the beginning of many celebrations to come!
