So last week I asked you all to offer up anything you may be involved with in your community – either currently volunteering or maybe something you’re interested in doing. I was impressed by the number and variety of responses. Obviously, the spirit of giving back is solidly imbedded in our culture here.

I was also struck by how many of the responses were news to me. Things I didn’t know about my co-workers. It made me stop and think about how many other “secrets” like that must be out there. Now I know some secrets are probably best kept that way (such as “What happens in Vegas – stays in Vegas”) but I am sure everyone has a little tidbit that they could share about themselves – something funny or interesting about their lives or experiences that would help our geographically and otherwise diverse employees get to know each other a little better.  

I am hoping each of you will put some thought into this and come up with your own secret or fun fact about yourself that can become part of a little guessing game (using smart phones) I am hoping to premiere at the next company lunch in September. That’s a little over a month from now so you have plenty of time to come up with something. I will be following up with an email to you with more details on how to submit your secret to the vault.
