It Pays to Know the Terrain

Earlier this month, we attended the annual HydroVision International Conference in Portland, OR. About 4,000 attendees from all over the United States and the world spent three full days at the Oregon Convention Center focusing on everything concerning hydro power.

We love hydropower at MacKay Sposito and this was the third time we have attended HydroVision. It was also the first time the conference has been held right in our back yard, so it seemed natural to want to share some of our knowledge of the area and our favorite places with the many visitors from out of town. The challenge was how to best share this expertise with the vast number of attendees, who each had different preferences for how they spent their time outside of the conference. We're always up for a challenge, right?

This one was met with a pretty slick interactive map that included nearly 30 places to visit in the Portland area, selected by our very own MacKay Sposito HydroVision attendees from our Energy and Business Development teams.

Check it out and see if any of your favorite places are in there already, or maybe there’s a new favorite place in your future!
